Two Space Events Boosts Space Industry in Kiruna

Sweden’s leading space scientists, representatives from the space industry and policymakers. All will gather in Kiruna in May, to attend Rymdforum – Sweden’s largest meeting place for stakeholders in the space area and just after that the Space Innovation Forum will take place.

– We have invested in space science in recent years, with a new round of the Graduate school in Space Technology and the recruitment of several internationally acknowledged professors. We believe in a greater interest in research and development in space-related fields. To succeed, it is important that stakeholders in the country work together. I see Rymdforum as an opportunity to deepen existing and initiate new collaborations, says Johan Sterte, Vice-chancellor at Luleå University of Technology.
