ESA BIC Sweden, the national Space Incubator, has adopted a ninth and tenth startups to the national space incubator as the space sector in northern Sweden has started to grow.

Tlight has developed a technology and equipment to identify minerals and gemstones. This may have important implications for the efficiency of exploration and provide direct feedback about what kind of minerals that you find in space.

– It feels incredibly exciting to be a part of the new aerospace cluster in Sweden, says Torbjörn Lindwall founder of Tlight.

New Century Information has developed a platform that can follow a moving object’s exact position and its properties such as direction, speed, rotation, acceleration and more in real time. The platform can be used for a variety of applications in areas such as skiing, alpine skiing, equestrian, racing, sailing or other sports.

The startups admitted to the incubator space receive cash development resources of nearly half a million kronor each and the opportunity to use patents developed by ESA. Startup companies will be for a maximum of two years to get advice, funding and access to the industrial partners in the ESA BIC Sweden.
