What is LiftOff?
Luleå University of Technology is the only university in Sweden that offers a space engineering program. The students at the space engineering program have a wide compentence in the today’s advanced engineering within space and aero technology. The space program has three main focuses, aero and mechanical, spacecrafts and instruments, and astrophysics.
LiftOff was created by space engineering students together with LTU Business to promote the aero- and space business to maintain a good contact between companies and students. We offer a place to interract between companies and tomorrow’s engineers. We offer companies to have a presentation of their business idea and what they do, to market themself and to promote their applicable jobs and posts.
2017 is the year for the first ever LiftOff event, which will become an anually recurring event.
LiftOff is placed at LTU’s Space Campus in Kiruna. During two consecutive days we will create a place that will make students and companies come together and gain contact as well as share ideas for the future of the space industry. With up to 200 students with unique competence within space technology including international space master students from all over the world, national as well as international companies related to the space and aero business, we are convinced that LiftOff will offer students as well as companies a great and profitable time.
