Breakfast lecture at Morgonrock

The space industry is growing and requires research, infrastructure but also local companies that can provide high-tech services and products. RIT2021 project manager Johanna Bergström Roos visits Morgonrock in Luleå to talk about the space industry and the big venture RIT2021.

The space industry is growing and requires research, infrastructure but also local companies that can provide high-tech services and products. The major venture RIT 2021 is a broad-based, close partnership between academia and industry and the public sector of SEK 60 million.

RIT 2021 is a development project run by Luleå University of Technology, LTU Business, IRF and Arctic Business, with support from OHB Sweden, SSC, GKN Aerospace, Region Norrbotten, Kiruna Municipality, Luleå Municipality, Sparbanken Nord and the EU.

Johanna Bergström Roos, business developer at LTU Business and project manager for RIT2021, has worked in the space industry since 1992, mainly in communication, project management and business development. Initially she worked at the Esrange Space Center for 19 years and since 2011 she has been employed by LTU Business as project manager.
