SME Programme: Business Opportunities for Satellite Data

LTU Business has, in collaboration with LTU, developed a program for regional small and medium-sized companies that want to broaden their business opportunities in a rapidly growing market.

The space industry is expanding, which creates good growth opportunities for the local and regional business community. The demand for satellite data is increasing markedly, not least to solve all global challenges we face today. The local, regional, or national market will also increase significantly as end users understand the potential of satellite data to create value in the most diverse areas such as environment and climate, agriculture, and forestry, monitoring of lakes and seas, community planning and rescue work etc. In addition, the combination of space data and e.g., AI is a winning concept as it involves large amounts of data that must be processed and analysed.

The programme “Business Opportunities for Satellite Data” aims to drive innovation, new collaborations, and new business opportunities, as well as to strengthen competencies for developing products and services based on data from satellites. Data that is available and sometimes completely free. Together with experienced business developers and industry experts, the program gives you knowledge and tools that challenge your company’s business model and current position.

3 blocks – we start on April 28, 13.00-17.00
The program consists of 3 blocks preceded by a stand-alone inspiration block. The inspiration block was made on March 3 during the much-appreciated webinar “Satellite data business opportunities”. Here is a recording of the webinar (1,5 h) and a link to all the presentations. It works fine to see the webinar in retrospect.
